There is no risk of tsunami because of the earthquake that occurred in the Arabian Gulf near the Strait of Hormuz, southern Iran.
A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said, “No potential of tsunami due to the earthquake that occurred in the Arabian Gulf near the Strait of Hormuz, southern Iran, with magnitude of 5.8 at depth of 84 km at 1:31 am local time."
