The State Council Chairman expressed his appreciation for the strong Omani-Russian relations and emphasized the mutual desire of both countries to further enhance these ties across diverse sectors.
In response, Mohamad Akhmadov, as the head of the Russian delegation, expressed his commitment to strengthening relations between the two nations, particularly in the realm of parliamentary cooperation.
The meeting also encompassed discussions on various matters of shared interest and perspectives on common concerns were exchanged.
Furthermore, the parliamentary friendship group with the Russian Federation held a session of talks, where both sides highlighted the importance of bilateral relations and explored avenues for their expansion in various domains.
During this session, the Omani delegation, led by Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al Harthy, engaged with their Russian counterparts under the leadership of Mohamad Akhmadov.
Additionally, discussions encompassed their collective support for the Palestinian cause and the role of international law and UN resolutions in establishing security and peace in the region.
Moreover, during their visit, members of the Russian delegation had the opportunity to meet with several officials from various Omani establishments.
