Oman Embassy In Washington Celebrates 51st National Day
The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Washington celebrated the 51st National Day.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the United States of America in Washington held a celebration for students studying at American universities at the Sultan Qaboos Cultural Centre in Washington, as part of the Sultanate's celebrations of the 51st National Day."His Excellency Moosa bin Hamdan Al Tai, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the United States of America, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the Omani students on this glorious occasion, urging them to continue making efforts in their academic achievements and to be the best ambassadors to represent Oman in their universities.
The embassy also held a cultural ceremony organised by the ambassador's wife and attended by a number of ambassadors' wives and officials in the government and the private sector at the Sultan Qaboos Cultural Centre in Washington, which included a display of collectibles representing the Omani environment and a video clip that highlighted the cultural, economic and tourism aspects of the Sultanate of Oman.
