Oman Technology Fund (OTF), represented by Ayshay Application, signed four cooperation agreements with A'Saffa Foods Company, Al Bashayer Meat Company, Mazoon Dairy Company and Atyab Food Industries Company, intending to deliver the products of these companies to the largest possible segment of subscribers on Ayshay platform.
The agreements were signed on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of the periodic subscription service in Ayshay application at OTF headquarters in Knowledge Oasis Muscat under the patronage of Dr Ali bin Amer Al-Shaidani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology.
The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Said bin Abdullah Al-Mantheri, CEO of the Oman Communications and Information Technology Group (OCITG) and Ismail bin Ibrahim Al Harthy, Acting CEO of Oman Technology Fund.
Ayshay, one of OFT investments, seeks to save the householders and employees the time they usually consume in purchasing regular household and consumer items (meat, poultry, vegetables, fruits, milk, derivatives, baked goods, etc.) by offering these items in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual subscription packages.
Eng. Mohammed Al Rasbi, Executive Director of OTF Techween Investment Project said that OTF took gradual steps in implementing its strategy aimed at placing the Sultanate on the map of economy pioneers and making it the preferred destination for emerging technology companies at the regional level and attracting and stimulating venture capital investments.
Al Rasbi pointed out that OFT - and over the past years - has been able, in cooperation with a number of partners, to build a platform to benefit from the talents in the Sultanate and support them to move from the stage of ideas to the stage of production, harnessing technology to achieve social and economic benefits for the society, and generate income to these innovators.
He added that OTF seeks to build a supportive environment to the innovator that works to ensure the sustainability of his/her project by providing support during the various stages of the project.
