HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), arrived in the Sultanate of Oman today on an official visit lasting two days.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik led the welcoming party for the Saudi Crown Prince. When the jet of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman touched ground at the Royal Airport, His Majesty the Sultan met the Royal guest at the foot of the ramp, welcoming him and wishing him and his official delegation a pleasant stay in his second home Oman.
Along with His Majesty the Sultan, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman was received by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu'mani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior (Head of the Mission of Honour), Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, HH Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the KSA and Abdullah bin Saud Al Anazi, the Saudi Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman.

Then, His Majesty the Sultan and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman headed to the main vehicle of the motorcade which, flanked by two rows of the Royal Guards of Oman, proceeded to Al Alam Palace.

The Saudi Crown Prince is accompanied during his visit to the Sultanate of Oman by an official delegation comprising HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Energy, HRH Prince Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Sports, HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Interior, HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of the National Guard, HRH Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Foreign Minister, HRH Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Minister of Culture, Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and acting Minister of Media and Abdullah bin Saud Al Anazi, the Saudi Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman.

The visit will be an opportunity to explore various areas of interest to the two countries and their peoples’ aspiration for further progress and prosperity.
