Dhofar municipality has arrested several workers who were setting up a illegal market in Salalah.

A statement issued by Dhofar Municipality said: “The Dhofar Municipality, represented by the General Directorate of Salalah Municipality, has arrested expatriate workers who set up a market for selling clothes between the old residential neighborhoods in the Central Salalah region."

"This kind of gathering and sales were noticed by the municipality inspector, and a joint operation with the Royal Oman Police was started to immediately start removing all assets at the site of the violation and to take legal action in this regard,“ the statement said.
