The Supreme Committee tasked to deal with COVID-19 pandemic has announced the reopening of restaurants and cafes, barbershops, beauty parlours, conference rooms in hotels, gyms, camel races, jet skis, wedding rental services and traditional clinics.
In a statement, the Government Communication Centre, said: “The Supreme Committee decided to reopen the sixth package of commercial and industrial activities, starting from Wednesday, with the importance of adhering to health requirements and precautionary measures for each activity.”
It also said that camel racing can resume without an audience and will have to follow the procedures necessary to limit the spread of the disease.
The public restaurants and cafes should be opened with conditions and procedures necessary to limit the spread of the disease, the order says. Hookah cannot be served in cafes until further orders.
