Supreme Committee Extends Land Border Closure

Oman’s land borders will be closed until February 8, the Supreme Committee announced on Sunday.
In a statement issued by Oman TV, the committee said it will extend the closure till 6 pm on February 8.
This decision was issued on the basis of the recommendation of a specialised technical team that is following the developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the developments of new strains of the virus and its risks at the regional and global level, and to prevent members of society from contracting it.
