The Dhofar Municipality Emergency Committee has heightened its efforts to guarantee that all necessary preparations and equipment are in place to address the potential impacts of the tropical situation "Tej," which is anticipated to affect the Dhofar Governorate's coastline in the coming days, as per the Oman Meteorology.

The Dhofar Municipality stated, "An active emergency committee is in place to discuss arrangements and updates related to the tropical situation. It will oversee the actions taken by work teams and implement the operational plan. This includes offering public services, removing obstacles to facilitate the flow of water in valleys, as well as providing essential equipment, devices, and water drainage pumps."

The municipal emergency committee will maintain ongoing communication and ensure collaboration among work teams to surmount challenges and maintain services to address the impacts of the tropical situation in the Dhofar Governorate's wilayat, all in coordination and cooperation with various relevant authorities.
