Construction is currently in progress for Al Suwaiq Hospital, located in the Governorate of North Al Batinah. This project is being executed by the Ministry of Health, with a budget of OMR75 million.

The main building of the hospital has achieved a 100% completion rate, while the overall project has reached a 50% completion status. According to Eng. Hamad Hareb Al Alawi, the Project Manager of Al Suwaiq Hospital, the hospital is situated on a land area covering 287,000 square meters, with a building area of 47,357 square meters. Additionally, there will be a total of 550 parking spaces.

Structural work on the primary building has been finalized, and efforts are currently focused on completing supporting structures, including service buildings, medical gas storage, waste management facilities, and various mechanical and electrical installations.

The hospital will feature a wide range of departments and specialized units, including adult intensive care, neonatal intensive care, premature infant care, dialysis, rehabilitation, dental services, and cardiac care. In total, the hospital will offer numerous departments, clinics, and service facilities, resulting in a bed capacity of 256 beds upon completion.
