A high school student in Ludhiana, Punjab, is turning trash into marvels by ingeniously crafting planes from discarded materials.
Tanishpreet Singh, a Ludhiana district student, has not only mastered the art of creating planes from waste but has also taken his skills to new heights.
His fascination for building planes began in the sixth grade and gradually evolved into a skill that led him to compete at the national level.
Tanishpreet shared, "I've had a passion for technology since I was a child, and after watching YouTube videos, I started making planes in the sixth grade. Initially, some of my planes didn't turn out well, but I didn't give up."
He continued, "Finally, in the ninth grade, I managed to create a plane that flew for a while but eventually crashed. However, this setback fueled my determination to fly a plane made from waste. I just needed to refine my craft."
He also acknowledged his mentor, Yadminder, a resident of Bathinda, who taught him a lot about his craft. Tanishpreet explained, "Initially, I made planes using cardboard, but today, I can construct planes from discarded materials. I order the motor parts for the planes online and also attempt to create some myself. My aspiration is to pursue aeronautics further."
Tanishpreet's mother, Sukhwinder Kaur Jassal, shared, "I work in a boutique, and aside from that, I have a passion for designing my son's planes. I've designed some of his planes myself."
She expressed her pride and commitment to supporting her son in all his future endeavors, including accompanying him to competitions.
