General Kenneth McKenzie, Commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) and his accompanying delegation, visited Khasab Airbase and Musandam Naval Base in Musandam Governorate on Saturday.

On his arrival at Khasab Airbase, the guest and his delegation were received by Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hamad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), where they were briefed on the rescue operations, coordination of ships and oil tankers vessels’ voyages and the joint role on safeguarding international shipping lines.

During their visits, the guest and his delegation were accompanied by Leslie M. Tsou, the US Ambassador to the Sultanate and the US Military Defence Attache in Muscat.  

General Kenneth McKenzie, Commander of the US Central Command and his delegation arrived in the Sultanate on  a three-day official visit , on Saturday.
